The witches are coming back to downtown Kingston — and this year, we’re taking over the entire weekend!
On Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, the Kingston Witches Walk returns for a weekend filled with magic, community, shopping, dancing, movies, and plenty of witchy fun.
Whether you’re joining us for the Walk, catching Practical Magic: The Witches Take Over, exploring the Witch Market, or planning to do it all, here’s your guide to making the most of Witches Walk Weekend.
And remember: the magic has a purpose. Our 2026 weekend is raising funds and awareness for Kingston Interval House, so please consider bringing a donation with you!
🧙♀️ Friday, October 9 — The Kingston Witches Walk
Gather at Skeleton Park starting at 5:00 PM
We’ll begin gathering at Skeleton Park at 5:00 PM before the festivities get underway.
This is your chance to find your fellow witches, get settled, take some photos, and get ready for an evening of magic in downtown Kingston.
Come dressed as your witchy self!
Traditional witch? Glamour witch? Green witch? Goth witch? Witchy weirdo? Something completely your own?
There’s no wrong way to be a witch at the Kingston Witches Walk.
✨ What Should I Bring?
A little preparation will make your evening much more magical:
🧙♀️ Your witchy outfit — obviously!
💜 A donation for Kingston Interval House
🥾 Comfortable footwear for the Walk
🧥 Weather-appropriate clothing
📱 Your phone or camera for those magical moments
🧹 Your friends, family and coven!
The Walk is happening rain or shine, so come prepared for whatever October decides to throw our way.
💃 Dance, Cast a Spell & Take Over Downtown
Before we set off, we’ll get the coven moving with some witchy dancing and festivities lead by The Cauldron Sisters!
Then, at 6:30 PM, we’ll gather for our Spell before setting off through downtown Kingston.
Hundreds of witches and witchy folk will fill the streets as we make our way toward Confederation Basin.
🚋 Can’t Walk the Whole Route?
We’ve got another way for you to join the fun!
The Ghost & Mystery Trolley will be joining us for Witches Walk Weekend, giving people another way to participate in the festivities if walking the entire route isn’t possible for them.
The trolley will be part of the evening’s witchy adventure and will help connect participants with the Walk festivities.
Please note: The Ghost & Mystery Trolley is not guaranteed wheelchair accessible.
